George Muturi is a man out to have creatives get value for their art by tapping into the digital economy.

According to the founder of MG innovation hub, the digital space has an enormous reach through which creatives could earn, especially through social media platforms.

For this reason, Muturi has organized a creatives summit meant to bring together creatives in Nakuru County and provide a platform to discuss issues affecting them.

“The whole idea is to bring together all creatives from Nakuru to help them learn how they can be able to turn their art and creativity into an income-generating venture,” said Muturi.

He noted that the event will be graced by top creatives and entrepreneurs from Nakuru who will form part of the panelists expected to address the creatives on that particular day.

The event will be held at the Kenya National Library -Nakuru on February 23, 2023, and will be running from 9 am to 4 pm.

Other than organizing the summit, Muturi has opened a creative space at Highway Towers where creatives can create their content and also learn digital skills including digital marketing, Deejaying, and Graphic design.

The creative hub also offers technical equipment like cameras, mics, and editing suites for creatives to use to produce content.

“All content creators are welcome to use our creative space at no cost, to produce their content. We will be providing producers; videographers, and photographers to help them produce the content and later on, help you edit and share content,” he added.
