Hell’s Gate National Park is fast emerging as one of Kenya’s most unique tourist destinations, blending natural beauty, and adventure sports.

Last weekend, the park once again hosted the annual Hell’s Gate Biking Festival, a flagship event that is steadily turning the park into a hub for both local and international adventure seekers.

Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has been keen on positioning the park not only as a wildlife conservation area, but also as an adventure destination.

Visitors to Hell’s Gate can cycle within the park while surrounded by wildlife, climb towering cliffs, walk along scenic gorge trails, or simply enjoy the serene atmosphere.

The Biking Festival, now in its third year, highlights the park’s capacity to host family-friendly and sporting events that appeal to Kenya’s increasingly adventurous population.

Hell’s Gate is also home to the iconic Fischer’s Tower, a magnet for rock climbers where if you wanted to start rock climbing you pay Sh. 750 per person.

Apart from the Gorges, where visitors can enjoy guided walking trails, the park also boasts a rare attraction with a natural spa.
