On Wednesday morning, Keziah Wanja woke up at 4am to board a PSV that was Nairobi-bound snagging herself a seat at the front.

An hour into her journey from Nakuru, she began feeling ill.

A perceptive William Kanzwili, who was driving the Prestige Shuttle at the time, could immediately tell something was wrong with Keziah.

While speaking to Mtaa Wangu, William shares, "Shortly after I asked the passenger(Keziah) if she was feeling unwell, she seemed half conscious and that's when I decided to rush her to a nearby hospital."

At the moment of the drive, Lari Level Four Hospital was the closest and that's where Keziah was rushed.

William shares that after running a few tests, it was discovered that Keziah's sugar levels were dangerously low and the doctors were appreciative of the quick action to rush her to a hospital.

The doctor then proceeded to prescribe a soda for Keziah and further tests upon her arrival in Nairobi.

After a total of thirty minutes, Keziah was ready to be discharged and William offered to pay her bills.

"As soon as all the test were done and the problem found, I offered to cover her bills and proceed with the journey back to Nairobi but was pleasantly shocked," he shares before adding, "the doctor that was tending to us was touched by my generosity and decided to discharge us without paying a single cent."

William's heart of gold was not only appreciated by Keziah and the doctor, but also by the other passengers that extended him the same kindness by not complaining about the thirty-minute delay.

In his parting shot William shares, "I was brought up to always be compassionate and considerate and especially towards mothers, the sick and the elderly and I am glad my kindness helped save a life."
