Preparations are in top gear at the much awaited Walker town concert that will be held on Saturday at Rift Valley Sports club.

The event sponsored by Johnie Walker is expected to attract thousands of people, all trooping to Naxvegas.

Nyashinski who is currently Johnnie Walker’s lead brand ambassador in Kenya and sensational Nigerian star artist Joeboy will headline the stage.

The event also features a line-up of renowned local and international artists. Playing at the event will be DJ Joe Mfalme, DJ Pierra Makena, DJ Protégé and DJ Ruby

Earlier in the day, check-in and security check areas were set, as well as different booths.

The stage had been put together as well, along with the Walker bar.

Speaking during a press briefing Johnnie Walker Marketing Manager, Josephine Katambo assured attendees of their safety and security, noting that adequate security measures have been put in place.

"Everyone’s safety is our top priority, and we have put in place adequate security measures to ensure that everyone can have a great time without any worries,” says Mr Katambo.
