Nakuru will be coloured with a number of events over the weekend from themed parties in entertainment joints to celebrations to mark World Arts Day among other events.

For those looking forward to unwinding, the town has more than enough places to go and enjoy yourself.

On Saturday, the Amapiono tour ke will be in town. If you are part of the firimbi nation and Amapiano anthem lovers then Gigi Roof Top is the place to be. The Amapiano tour ke has an interesting lineup of DJs, and hype masters to get the night lively.

DJ Sirme and DJ Ruby will be playing at 8teen lounge on April 15, 2023.

Playing for the night will be Dee Jay X, DJ Dii , Dj Bee, Mista C, Tim Mbatia, and hype by Anto, PK & Friends among others whereas Nakuru’s award-winning DJ, Dj Ruby will be playing at 8Teen Lounge alongside DJ Sirme

On Sunday Nakuru’s top band, Tamasha Band will be performing at Chili’s alongside DJ Sirme, Dj Reignerd, and DJ Patreex.

World arts Day

World art day celebrations will be held on April 15, 2023 at Nyayo gardens.

Art lovers have an opportunity to interact with like-minded people tomorrow as Nakuru marks World Arts Day. The county government through the directorate of culture and tourism in partnership with other stakeholders has organized celebrations to the day.

The celebrations will kick off at 10 am at Nyayo Gardens. Expect some art exhibitions, dances and performances from different creatives.

The 2023 World Arts Day theme is ‘Art is good for the health.’

Nakur players' theatre will host a hang out at their garden on April 14, 2023.

The Nakuru players theatre is also inviting locals for an evening of fun experiences for locals to explore and learn more about the theatre. The tour is dubbed ‘Tembea Nakuru Theatre’. Expect some live band performances, dance crews, rappers, musicians and Djs on set.
The event kicks off at 5pm to 6. 30pm with free entry to all.
