The creative scene in Nakuru promises a series of activities this weekend. Here are some of the events you can attend.

Lipala Arts Festivals

Notable performing artists from Nakuru will be performing at the 2023 Lipala arts festivals that will bring together teen and established creatives from the country. Key creatives who will be attending the festivals include Barbushe Maina alias Father of art in Nakuru, vocalist and Musician Vanessa Pym, Word King Willie Oeba, Look it art band, Hype Master Hush BK, and Shankulu music among others.

The two-day performing arts festival will be hosted at the Greensteds school in Nakuru. Expect some good laughter, art exhibitions, inspiration and kufurahia Maisha.

Chronicles of Ogoti the boy child to be showcased at Nakuru players' theatre on March 19,2023.

Rarely, are there chances when everything is set up just to give a voice to the boy child. However, Nakuru’s player’s theatre will be showcasing a concept show dubbed ‘Chronicles of Ogoti the Boy Child’, Staging the life of the boy through the lenses of the poet sharing his life experience The show will happen on March 19, 2023, with tickets going for Ksh 250
