Nakuru’s events scene is regaining momentum as February unfolds, with a lively mix of wellness, adventure and social experiences giving residents plenty of reasons to step out after a relatively slow January.

This weekend, the city is buzzing with activities that encourage people to stay active, connect with others and enjoy shared experiences across different spaces.

The weekend begins on a healthy note with the Nakuru Walk Movement, a free initiative aimed at promoting physical fitness and mental wellness.

The walk will start at Nyayo Gardens at 8am, taking participants through Area 58, White House, Milimani, London and KFA before looping back to the starting point.

Organisers say the goal is to create a simple but meaningful space for residents of all ages to exercise, clear their minds and build community through movement.

The activity is open to everyone and does not require prior registration, making it easily accessible for families, youth and professionals.

Adventure lovers will also have their share of excitement at Menengai Forest Crater, where Global Fast Fit is organising a guided hike on Saturday, February 7.

The experience blends fitness, nature exploration and team-building at one of Nakuru’s most iconic outdoor locations.

Participants will pay Sh1,250, which covers park entry, guide services, water, professional photography and branded caps.

Organisers say the hike is designed to help residents reconnect with nature while strengthening social bonds and healthy lifestyles.

Beyond wellness and adventure, social experiences are shaping the city’s weekend vibe. Nakuru Social Club is set to host The Pizza Experience on Saturday, February 8 at Crème & Crumble, CZ Plaza near Tule Kienyeji.

The interactive session will allow participants to learn pizza making from scratch, bake and enjoy their own creations, sip cold sodas and vibe to music hosted by a DJ and MC.

The experience costs Sh570, with pick-up arranged at Nyayo Gardens at 9.00 am, offering a blend of food, fun and social connection.

Looking ahead, residents will also gather for the Lord Egerton Jersey Edition hosted by Nakuru Experience Club, a themed meet-up expected to attract those interested in networking and shared lifestyle experiences in a relaxed environment.

Together, these activities reflect a renewed energy in Nakuru’s social and lifestyle space. From early morning wellness walks and scenic hikes to interactive food events and themed social gatherings, residents are being offered multiple ways to unwind, stay active and build connections.
