In an interview with Mtaa Wangu, Ms Waceke says she is still in awe of the results as they were not what she expected.
"My expectation was 410 marks but I am happy that I surpassed it to emerge as one of the best students in the county and also among the top girls," said Ms Wacheke.
She notes that she aspires to join Alliances Girls' High School, even though it was not one of the schools she chose, having opted for Nakuru Girls High School.

"I did not think my grades would secure me a place at Alliance Girls. But I am happy that God has done well for me," she says.
Wacheke says her best subject is science because her science teacher, Mr Thuku, encouraged her so much.
Her dream is to study medicine and become a neurosurgeon. She sees her performance as the first step towards achieving her dream.
Kephas Mwangi (Emmaculate Waceke's father) could not hide his joy that his daughter was among the top students.
"I am a proud father, but it has not been a smooth ride. There are times when she drops her performance but I have always told her 'Kuvunjika kwa mwiko sio mwisho wa kupika Ugali'. I am happy that our support and constant encouragement has borne fruit," said Mr Mwangi.
