Protesters in Nakuru took a rest at the garden opposite Nakuru State house to regroup after a five hour march across the city.

This followed a procession that started at 9 am at the Nakuru Railway Grounds through Kenyatta avenue, KFA roundabout, heading back to statehouse.

With most saying they were resting for round two, majority of the Gen Z on this protest decided to make the grounds opposite the state house their resting grounds.

Police had earlier blocked the group of protestors at Gate iguru to deny them access to the Nakuru State house .

However, with much enthusiasm the group branched and cunningly used the route to war memorial to access State house.

It was at this point that they refused further negotiations with police to end the protest and decided to seat by the road side and at the open field opposite state house .

More police were deployed at the State house entrance as the number of protestors grew by the minute.

After resting for about 30 minutes ,they reached out to other groups in different locations to regroup and matched back to the city centre.
