Nakuru based lawyer Bernhard Kipkoech Ng'etich was among the legal professionals who were feted in the annual Law Society of Kenya (LSK) awards.

Mr Kipkoech who operates under the firm of Gordon Ogola and Kipkoech company advocates was crowned the up country lawyer of the year in the 2023 LSK awards ceremony that was held on March 31.

The award was presented to him during the colourful and pompous gala dinner.

The celebrated lawyer took to social media to celebrate the award with his online friends where he posted the award.

He thanked his colleagues who nominated him for the award as well as his family and friends.

“I am grateful to advocates who proposed me for nomination for the award by the Law Society of Kenya. Many thanks to my family, colleagues, clients and adversaries for refining me in the furnace,” stated the lawyer.

Mr Kipkoech dedicated the award to all lawyers who freely help members of the society to access justice.

The LSK awards 2023 and annual dinner saw various practitioners in the legal field celebrated for their outstanding roles in the society.
