At around 12.50 am on Sunday, DJ Shinski made his way to the decks at Groundless lounge, ending the long wait.

This was his first performance in the country since he jetted back from the United States.

The US based DJ went ahead to take over the night forcing people up on their feet dancing at every song that the mix master put forward.

From the high energy seen in the club, it was clear that the DJ did not disappoint his fans some of whom had travelled from Nairobi and Eldoret towns to experience this rare mix genius.

The genre of music ranged from afro beat, bongo and the much loved Amapiano that seemed to excite the younger members of the crowd in the fully packed club.

The party went on until 4am when Shinski left the stage to interact with people and allow them sneak in a photo or two for the gram.

One of the revelers Mary Njoki noted that the show lived up to the hype.

“We hope he comes to Nakuru more often,” Njoki said.

One of the organizers, Sammy Gito said this was the first of such performances for Nakuru residents adding that there was a list of great artists and DJs lined up to perform in Nakuru this year.

Dj Shinski recently released a song with Naiboi dubbed 'Give it to me' as he endeavors to explore the production side of music.

Shinski is known for his Youtube music mixes famous for the genius way he infuses different beats in commonly known songs giving them a new feeling.
